POLICE on Saturday arrested two women while a female minor companion was rescued in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City.
Nabbed were Mercy Grace Glang, 47, of Cocohills Paso St., Bgy. Bagumbayan,Taguig City, and Jennifer Paler, 18, of MLQ St.,Purok 6,Bgy. Lower Bicutan,Taguig City.
Rescued was a 16-year-old female companion of the suspects.
The operation conducted by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Central Luzon, PDEA – Aurora Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Section in Cocohills Paso St., Bgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City seized five plastic sachets containing more or less 175 grams of shabu valued at P1,207,500, the buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The two women will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the minor was turned-over to the Taguig Social Welfare Development Office.
