JOINT operatives on Tuesday night arrested four men, including an actor, in a buy-bust operation that also led to the dismantling of an alleged drug den in Bgy. Molino 7, Bacoor City, Cavite.
Arrested were Noel De Guzman, 60, of Blk. 18, Lot 2, Mayon St. corner Ifugao, SpringVille Heights, Bgy. Molino 7; Higinio Achapero, 57, of Blk. 18, Lot 2, Phase 3, Camella Springville Heights, Bgy. Molino 7; Ronald Poblete, 44, of Blk. 24, Lot 19, Springville, Bgy. Molino 4 and Rommel Catap, 41, of Blk. 33, Lot 43, Lanete St., Ph 3, Central Camella Springville Camella, Molino 3, all in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said Poblete, also known as Raffy Anido, was a sexy actor in year 2000. His last TV appearance was in a game show Family Feud in December 2022.
Members of the PDEA-Cavite Provincial Office, Station Drug Enforcement Unit – Bacoor City Police Station and the Cavite Police Provincial Office Provincial Intelligence Unit/Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the buy-bust at Blk. 18, Lot 2, Phase 3, Camella Springville Heights, Bgy. Molino 7, Bacoor City, Cavite at 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
Confiscated during the operation were 15 grams of shabu with a street value of P103,500, several drug paraphernalia, a cellphone used in the illegal transaction, and the P500 buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects were charged with violation of Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
