Baguio City – The first ever charging station electric cars is now available in Baguio City and it is located at the Upper Basement parking of SM City Baguio near the main entrance area.
The charging station features a Tritium RTM50 50-kilowatt DC rapid EV charger powered by Emicor, Inc., can fully charge an e-vehicle at an average of 30 minutes to an hour.
The Tritum EV charger is compatible with vehicles that are common in Europe, Australia, and South America, like the Renault Zoe, Peugeot e-208, Porsche Taycan, Volkswagen e-Golf, Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Ioniq, Audi e-tron, BMW i3, Jaguar I-PACE. It is also compatible with Japanese-made vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf and the Mitsubishi Outlander.
Owners of electric cars in the city can now avail of the charging station while enjoying the holiday sale at the department store.
