THE Batangas Police Provincial Office in collaboration with the Batangas Medical Center, the Provincial Blood Council, and the Philippine Red Cross, on Thursday conducted a “mass blood donation” at Camp General Miguel C. Malvar, Batangas City.
Batangas Police Provincial Office Director Col. Pedro Police reported to Police Regional Office 4A Director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. that the blood letting activity started at 7 a.m. and ended at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Soliba said about 130 bags of blood were collected from police and civilian donors who passed the screening process, including medical interview and check-up of their blood pressure, weight, and oxygen level.
According to Soliba, the mass blood donation aims to help those in need of blood and save lives.
“We sincerely thank everyone who joined our mass blood donation event that will greatly help our countrymen. Your solidarity is a simple way to save a life,” Soliba said.
