PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives on Tuesday arrested two men following the confiscation of over P1 million worth of shabu from New York, USA during a controlled delivery operation in Baliuag, Bulacan.
Arrested were claimants Vincent Francis Estrella, 32, of Aluna St. Villa Crystal Subdivision, Bgy. Concepcion, and Gilbert Gonzalez, 35, of Don Ambrosio Village, Sabang, both of Baliuag town.
Members of the PDEA-Central Luzon, Clark Interdiction Task Group, Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark launched the operation at Crystal Subdivision, Bgy. Concepcion, Baliuag, Bulacan.
Seized from Estrella and Guinit were at least 152.9 grams of shabu worth P1,055,010.
According to PDEA, the shipment containing the illegal drugs arrived at the Port of Clark last May 10.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects
