SOME P10 million worth of suspected marijuana on Wednesday was seized while three drug suspects were arrested in an intensified anti-drugs campaign by the Bulacan police in Guiguinto and Obando towns.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, Bulacan police OIC Col. Relly Arnedo identified the arrested suspects as Eliterio Pazon Jr. alias Jun, 28; and Hazel Domingo, 31, both from Sta. Rita, Guiguinto; and Allan Lucero alias “Lance,” 31, from Hulo, Obando, Bulacan.
Arnedo said Pazon Jr. and Domingo were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Masagana Homes, Sta. Rita in Guiguinto conducted by members of the Guiguinto police, together with the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Confiscated from the suspects were 16 bricks of suspected marijuana weighing at least 30 kilograms worth P3.6 million.
A joint buy-bust operation of the Obando police and the PIU resulted in the arrest of Allan Lucero in Hulo, Obando.
Seized were 67 bricks of marijuana weighing around 53.5 kilograms and valued at P6.4 million.
“We are relentless in our compaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drugs operations to stop its proliferation” Pasiwen said.
