
THE Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through its Rizal Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO-Rizal), has deployed the Versatile Instrumentation System for Science and Education and Research (VISSER) to two (2) high schools. These schools are San Jose National High School (SJNHS) in Rodriguez (May 14th) and Tanay Senior High School (TSHS) in Tanay (May 21st).
The VISSER technology aims to aid Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) instructors and learners in making experiments more interactive, effective, and efficient through its electronic devices, sensors, and pre- designed laboratory modules. Specifically, this innovative “laboratory in a box” targets four (4) key objectives: enhanced learning, real-world applications, improved critical thinking, and cultivation of future scientists.
