Parang Maguindanao – The Department of Public Works and Highways in Maguindanao has just announced that the Nituan Bridge that connects Parang, Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur is now closed permanently until further notice.
A portion of the bridge has already collapsed dur to the ravaging flood waters brought about by typhoon “Paeng”.
Because of this catastrophe, residents and motorists are faced with dilemma as there no alternative route going to Pagadian via Cotabato and Cotabato – Marawi, Cotabato – Iligan, including Cagayan de Oro.
Travel from Cotabato to the said areas are now temporarily stop until further notice.
