HOUSE of Representatives Secretariat officials and employees who took part in FranklinCovey Philippines’ three-day seminar on “7 Habits for Highly Effective Government Leaders,” underwent a process of personal growth and empowerment, as the seminar ended on Thursday.
Ms Roqueza hoped that the participants would start applying these concepts into their family and in the workplace. “Each habit has a different set of practices, and I am just thinking if they can adapt just one practice immediately, they’ll see a change in the results that they get and hopefully they can now be the change that they want to be and drive the change in others as well,” she said.
During the last day, the group explored the sixth habit known as “synergize,” which pertains to the utilization of combined knowledge and abilities of a group to create outcomes that surpass what people may do independently.
The final habit, “Sharpen the saw or invest in renewal activities,” taught the participants the significance of self-renewal and maintaining a balanced life.
