TRANSPORTATION Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports sector regarded as “historic” the inaugural direct flight of U.S. air carrier United Airlines between Manila, Philippines and San Francisco, California USA.
“This is the new non-stop transpacific flight. It is a testament to the strong bilateral relations,” Usec. Lim said on Monday.
A water canon salute welcomed the United Airlines Boeing 777 jet direct from San Francisco to Manila.
According to the United Airlines, the non-stop Manila-San Francisco flight is one of the most requested routes in United history.
The international carrier is proud to be the first and only U.S. airline to fly direct to Manila, Philippines.
