A 52-year-old man tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Zambales was arrested in Iba, Zambales.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen identified the suspect as Francisco Mayo Jr., a vendor, of Bgy. Ilwas, Subic, Zambales.
Mayo is listed as the no. 2 most wanted person in Zambales and the no. 4 most wanted in Subic.
Pasiwen said operatives of the Olongapo City Police Regional Intelligence Division under Col. Reycon Garduque, along with the Regional Intelligence Division 3, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Zambales Police Provincial Office and other concerned units with the over-all supervision of Olongapo police chief Col. Carlito Grijaldo conducted a manhunt operation in Purok 2, Bgy. San Agustin, Iba. which resulted in the arrest of Mayo.
A warrant of arrest was issued against Mayo by Hon. Melanifay V Tadili, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Third Judicial Region Branch 97 Olongapo City for murder and attempted murder.
