THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has assisted in retrieving the body of the fisherman, Mr. Rocky Tackal, who went missing while fishing in the vicinity waters of Barangay Taloto, Araceli, Palawan, on 09 June 2024.
The joint operations conducted by the Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Araceli, Philippine National Policel (PNP), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Bantay Dagat, barangay officials, and civilian volunteers occurred on 11 June 2024.
The PCG continuously reminds fishermen to prioritize their safety at sea and immediately report untoward incidents for appropriate assistance
