IN a proactive effort to protect Lagunenses from seasonal influenza Gov. Sol Aragones led a free flu vaccination drive in the towns of Alaminos and Rizal on January 23, 2026.
The program, spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Laguna through the Provincial Health Office, is intended exclusively for Laguna residents and aims to boost community immunity amid the rising number of flu and respiratory illness cases.
Dr. Odilon Inoncillo of the Provincial Health Office also joined the initiative and explained that the flu vaccine provides protection for up to one year. Sol Aragones. The governor personally visited Alaminos to support the program, showing the provincial government’s commitment to public health.
Mayor Eric Bolado Lopez, along with local council members, welcomed the initiative and thanked Gov. Sol for the program.
Residents also expressed their gratitude.
Health officials reminded residents to monitor for possible side effects and seek medical help if needed. The free flu vaccination drive is part of the provincial government’s preventive health campaign, aimed at protecting Lagunenses and reducing the spread of influenza in the community.
