
A TOTAL of 7,922 families or 24,788 individuals have been preemptively evacuated across Northern and Central Luzon due to the threat of Super Typhoon Nando.
Region II recorded the highest number of evacuees with 5,276 families or 16,396 individuals, the majority of which came from Cagayan with 4,640 families or 14,380 individuals. Isabela followed with 490 families or 1,553 individuals, while Batanes and Nueva Vizcaya reported smaller numbers.
In the Cordillera Administrative Region, 891 families or 2,652 individuals were evacuated, mostly from Apayao with 812 families or 2,430 individuals. Abra accounted for 58 families or 151 individuals.
In Region I, Ilocos Norte reported 756 families or 2,301 individuals.
In Region III, a total of 352 families or 1,029 individuals were evacuated, largely from Aurora with 339 families or 986 individuals, while Nueva Ecija reported 13 families or 43 individuals.
