AKBAYAN Party-list Representative Perci Cendaña slammed the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) for summoning Viva Entertainment after content creator Sassa Gurl spoke out against the double X-rating given to the queer film Dreamboi.
“When public officials are criticized, they shouldn’t respond with power tripping. Makinig at umunawa,” he said.
“Queer narratives have long been dismissed as promiscuous. The Dreamboi team did an excellent job in flipping this script. Para sa tooong malaya at makulay na sining,” Rep. Cendaña added.
