SANTA Rosa City came alive with color, rhythm, and celebration as it marked the 27th Sikhayan Festival on Saturday, January 18, 2026, drawing thousands of residents and visitors to the streets. Held in Santa Rosa, Laguna, the annual festival highlighted the city’s rich culture and creative talent through a grand parade and lively street dance competition, celebrating unity, history, and local artistry.
Organized by the City Government of Santa Rosa under the leadership of Mayor Arlene Arcillas, Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas, and the City Council, the festival highlighted the strong cultural identity of the residents.

Governor Sol Aragones lauded the successful celebration, saying, “Dinagsa muli ng napakaraming tao ang Sikhayan Festival para saksihan ang isang kasaysayang tampok ang talento at kultura ng Santa Rosa. Congrats! Ate Mayor Arlene Arcillas!”.
The event was widely attended, with crowds filling major roads and public spaces to witness the vibrant performances. Participants from different barangays wore makukulay na kasuotan and performed energetic dances inspired by local stories, traditions, and modern influences, drawing cheers and applause from enthusiastic spectators.
Now on its 27th year, the Sikhayan Festival 2026 once again showed how Santa Rosa continues to grow not only as an economic hub but also as a cultural beacon in Laguna. Through music, dance, and strong community participation, the festival reaffirmed the city’s commitment to nurturing local talent, preserving heritage, and uniting its people in celebration and pride.
