THE 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division welcomed two new chiefs of offices during the Joint Change of Chief of Office Ceremony for the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems, G6 (AC of S for C4S, G6) and the Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) at Camp Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal on Wednesday, November 26.Ā
The event was presided over by 2ID Commander Major General Ramon Zagala, who underscored the importance of continuity, leadership character, and institutional stewardship.
Colonel Alejandro Malaran formally relinquished his post as Assistant Chief of Staff for C4S after completing his tour of duty marked by steadfast service and reliable technical leadership. Stepping into the role is Lieutenant Colonel Randy Galiza, who recently concluded a successful stint as Battalion Commander of the 76th Infantry (Victrix) Battalion, bringing with him field-tested experience and a renewed drive to strengthen 2IDās communications and cyber capabilities.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrex Molina turned over the responsibilities of Chief, DPAO after leading the office through a period of dynamic information operations and strengthened stakeholder engagement. The role is now entrusted, in acting capacity, to Colonel Michael Aquino, the concurrent Chief of the Division CAA Affairs Office, who is set to continue advancing the Divisionās strategic communication efforts.
The ceremony highlighted the Divisionās commitment to building strong, capable, and cohesive staff officesāeach one essential to sustaining 2IDās operations, public engagement, and mission success.
