INTENSIFIED police operations on Saturday have hauled to jail seven drug suspects and seized over P295,000 worth of shabu in separate drug buy-busts in Bulacan.
In a report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said several entrapment operations led to the arrest of seven drug suspects and the confiscation of some P295,520 worth of shabu and marked money.
The first operation conducted by the City of San Jose Del Monte police in Bgy. Graceville, CSJDM resulted in the arrest of Sherwin Dela Cruz, 41.
Seized were at least 40 grams of the “poor man’s cocaine’ worth P272,000 and the buy-bust money.
Arrested in Bgy. Ulingao, San Rafael were Rodrigo Dionisio alias “Daryl, 54,” and Napoleon Ligamzon alias “Jay-jay,” 48.
Confiscated from the suspects were six sachets of shabu amounting to P3,400, a cal. .38 revolver with four live bullets, and the marked money.
The Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Sta. Maria, Bocaue and Hagonoy police arrested Marjay Espiritu, Reynaldo Gimeno, Edilberto Tuazon, and Rico Coronel after they yielded a total of P23,120 worth of shabu.
Meanwhile, the tracker team of the Sta. Maria police and the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company netted three persons wanted for various crimes.
Hidalgo commended the Bulacan police for their successful police operations as Arnedo vowed an unwavering commitment to their campaign against illegal drugs, crime and in maintaining public safety in the province.
