Johnny Pimentel and Bislig City Mayor Florencio Garay, leads the ceremonial turnover of services and assistance packages from various government agencies during the launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) at the De La Salle John Bosco College Open Field in Bislig City, Surigao Del Sur Friday (June 21, 2024).
SUPPORT for the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. continues to swell as at least 77 members of the House of Representatives attended the service caravan held in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur on Friday.
Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, a major proponent of the BPSF, said he is very pleased to see that attendance in this major program of the Marcos administration from the House continues to grow as lawmakers want to see for themselves how this festival of government services benefits the people.
“I can speak for each and every one of the lawmakers who were present in the Surigao del Sur BPSF that we are all in awe of how much this revolutionary program is helping our citizens in so many ways,” said Romualdez, leader of the 300-plus-strong House of Representatives.
“Nakikita namin kung paanong ang bawat pisong aming inilalaan sa bawat programa ng pamahalaan ay direktang nakakatulong sa ating mga mamamayan. Kaya sa susunod naming pagbalangkas ng national budget ng bansa, lubos na naming nauunawaan ang bawat numerong aming pinag-uusapan sa Kongreso,” he added.
House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias “Ponyong” P. Gabonada Jr., one of the leaders of the BPSF National Secretariat, said the Speaker was joined by the local hosts for the BPSF Surigao del Sur, Rep. Johnny T. Pimentel and Gov. Alexander T. Pimentel, in leading several government agencies in rolling out a total of P560 million worth of aid packages for 90,000 beneficiaries in the province.

“Ipagpapatuloy natin ang pagsasagawa ng BPSF sa lahat ng 82 na lalawigan ng bansa, hanggang ang mamamayan nating nangangailangan ng serbisyo ay naabot natin sa lahat ng sulok ng bansa. Direktang serbisyo sa tao, ito ang hatid ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.,” Romualdez said.
