THE House Committee on Higher and Technical Education chaired by Baguio City Rep. Mark Go on Monday created a Technical Working Group (TWG) tasked with consolidating House Bills 4710 and 6639, which both seek to make the creation of a Crime Prevention Committee mandatory for all higher education institutions (HEIs) and technical-vocational institutions, with the end-in-view of protecting the academic community from internal and external threats.
