LAGUNA— Parts of Laguna province experienced an unscheduled power interruption Wednesday afternoon, August 19, following an outage affecting two transmission lines, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
In an advisory issued at 3:48 p.m., NGCP said the interruption affected areas served by the First Laguna Electric Cooperative (FLECO).
The outage involved the Lumban-Famy 69-kilovolt (kV) and Lumban-Caliraya 69-kV transmission lines.
NGCP said the root cause of the outage has yet to be determined.
The agency assured affected consumers that the situation was being monitored and thanked the public for their patience and understanding while power service was disrupted.
