THE two-day conduct of the “One-Time, Big-Time” anti-criminality operations has hauled to jail 125 wanted felons in Bicol region.
Police Regional Office 5 director Brig. Gene. Rudolph Dimas said 18 of the 125 lawbreakers are among the most wanted persons in Region 5.
The 18 wanted men were among the 125 arrested as a result of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations or SACLEO, which include the service of warrants of arrest and search warrants for illegal drugs and firearms from Monday to Tuesday.
All are now under the custody of PRO7 provincial, city and municipal police stations pending their presentation to court for proper disposition.
According to Dimas, the suspects are facing criminal charges ranging from rape, homicide, murder, frustrated murder, violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulations Act of 2013.
The official assured Bicolanos of the stepped-up anti-criminality operations, particularly against illegal drugs, loose firearms, robbery-holdup and other heinous.
