CALAMBA Medical Center (CMC) has secured Gold Accreditation from Accreditation Canada International (ACI) for the period December 2025 to December 2028, becoming the only hospital in Southern Luzon to attain this level of international recognition.
The prestigious accreditation affirms CMC’s adherence to globally accepted standards in patient safety, quality of care, and healthcare service excellence, reinforcing its position as a leading healthcare institution in the region.
CMC received the Gold status following a successful on-site survey conducted from December 8 to 12, 2025 under ACI’s Qmentum International Program, a respected global framework used to assess and improve healthcare quality and safety.
The rigorous accreditation process involved an independent and comprehensive evaluation of the hospital’s daily operations, including patient safety protocols, clinical and support services, hospital governance, and quality improvement systems.
For patients and their families, the Gold Accreditation serves as strong assurance that the care provided at CMC meets international benchmarks. From service delivery and risk management to continuous improvement initiatives, systems are in place to ensure safe, consistent, and patient-centered care.
As a result, patients benefit from healthcare services that are high-quality, compassionate, reliable, and aligned with global best practices.
With this milestone, CMC further strengthens its mission of delivering excellence in healthcare guided by its core value of “Kalingang may Husay at Puso,” while setting a benchmark for hospital standards in Southern Luzon.
The recognition also reflects the collective dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of CMC’s leadership, medical staff, and healthcare workers in providing safe, effective, and patient-focused services.
The ACI Gold Accreditation remains valid until December 2028, underscoring Calamba Medical Center’s sustained commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and internationally recognized healthcare standards.
