THE Congressional Spouses Foundation Inc. (CSFI) led by its Chairperson Tingog Party-list Representative and Committee on Accounts Chairperson Yedda Marie Romualdez, as well as its President former Deputy Speaker and Pangasinan Rep. Rose Marie “Baby” Arenas, on Tuesday gave gifts to non-organic personnel of the House of Representatives (HRep) in appreciation for their help.
Rep. Romualdez conveyed her and Speaker Romualdez’s gratitude, as well as that of the CSFI, for the beneficiaries’ invaluable work, “Hindi po namin magagawa ung trabaho namin kung wala po kayo. Malaki po ang pasalamat namin. May you all feel appreciated and valued as always.”
The CSFI gave gifts to personnel from the HRep Grounds and Maintenance Group, Philippine National Police (PNP) Group, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Lockheed Security Group, K-9 personnel, janitorial services, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) streetsweepers, and Quezon City Task Force on Solid Waste Management.
CSFI President Arenas thanked donors and benefactors for their support for the activity, noting the overflow of gifts, “First time na tayo ay nagtitipon-tipon na napakadami ng ating ipamimigay sa ating mga empleyado, sa inyo pong lahat. Maraming salamat sa inyo mga spouses, thank you for your support, for always being there in our endeavors. We’re going to make a difference in the lives of our employees and everybody, also pati mga pari dito at ung mga orphans sa paligid ng Batasang Pambansa.”
Rep. Romualdez commended CSFI President Arenas and the dedication of the CSFI members. “Thank you to our CSFI President for your leadership, and your heart, and your advocacies. To the CSFI members, thank you for your support to all our activities, as well as the CSFI Secretariat Team for all their hard work and dedication to ensure CSFI initiatives are always a success.” she said.
