DOST-Quezon attended the 2024 National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) Celebration organized by PGU-Quezon and the QPDRRMO held at the Quezon Convention Center, Lucena City, July 1.
As member of the Quezon PDRRM Council, Ms. Maria Esperanza E. Jawili, Provincial Science & Technology Director of DOST-Quezon, showed her commitment to advocating a resilient province by participating in the said activity.
In Quezon Province, DOST has Center for Hazard and Environmental Resource Mapping (CHERM), which provides free mapping services; and DRRM projects such as Fiberglass Rescue Boats, Tsunami Early Warning Systems (TEWS), Automatic Rain Gauges (ARG), and Local Government Unit Information Dissemination Systems (LGUIDS).
