Japanese pilot wounded in plane crash in Pampanga

A Japanese national on Sunday was injured when a small private aircraft crashed on a grassy field in Pampanga.

The injured was Takayoshi Taguchi, 67, with  permanent address in  Hyogo, Japan and presently residing at 950, Condotel, Angeles City.

Taguchi piloted a RPS 601 light spot Zenith aircraft which took off around 2:08 p.m. on Sunday.

The plane  is flying  above  Bgy. Sta Maria, Magalang, Pampanga when it crashed on a  grassy field in Sitio Talimundok.

The pilot, who suffered body injuries, was  rushed to the St. John Paul II Medical Center in Sitio Mandani, Bgy. San Antonio, Magalang for treatment.

An investigation is ongoing to determine if the crash was caused by pilot error or mechanical failure.
