THE National Housing Authority has assured housing assistance to the family of overseas worker Jullebee Ranara who was brutally murdered in Kuwait.
NHA general manager Joeben Tai issued the promise as he extended his condolences to the family of Ranara.
The assistance was in response to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to extend help to the family of the slain overseas Filipino worker.
Officer-in-Charge AGM Roderick T. Ibañez, with NCR-South Sector regional manager Ar. Luis S. Bacamante, visited the wake of Ranara in Las Piñas City yesterday.
They had a dialogue with the bereaved family and assured them that the NHA will provide housing in a location of their choice.
Ranara was reportedly raped and brutally murdered in Kuwait.
During his visit to Ranara’s wake, President Marcos, Jr. promised that the government will give all the help needed by the family.
Ranara’s father, Romy, expressed his gratitude to the NHA, especially to Tai, for the assistance and sympathy.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po. Malaking tulong po itong ibibigay sa amin, kasi ‘pag pinaalis kami dito, wala kaming mapupuntahan,” the father said.
