NEARLY P7.5 million worth of shabu was seized in an operation in Mariveles, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bataan police director Col. Romell A. Velasco, identified the arrested suspect as Noel dela Cruz and a minor cohort.

Seized were one cal. .45 pistol loaded with four live bullets, a holster, two magazines loaded with 17 pieces of cal. .45 ammunition, two boxes containing 76 pieces of cal .22 bullets, a glass pipe, a weighing scale, one tickler, 14 pieces of medium to large size plastic sachets and two pieces of tea bags containing shabu weighing approximately 1.1 kilos, with an estimated street value of P7,480,000 .
Hidalgo said the strengthened anti-illegal drugs campaign and effective intelligence response to combat the lawbreakers are being carried out in accordance with the directives of Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. to maintain peace and order in the province.
