A Pampanga provincial legal officer yesterday was shot in front of a hospital in Bgy. Sto Rosario, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The victim was attorney Gerome Tubig who is also an ex-Sangguniang Panlalawigan member
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. has ordered an in-depth investigation into the shooting of Tubig.
Hidalgo said Tubig was about to park his car in front of the VL Makabali Hospital when two men on a motorcycle arrived and shot him several times before fleeing towards Bgy. Dolores.
The lawyer was immediately brought to the hospital for treatment.
The SOCO team found at the crime scene four spent shells for a cal..45 pistol.
Members of the Sub-stations 1 and 2 issued a flash alarm for possible identification of the suspects who were wearing helmets and black striped jackets.
Hidalgo directed Pampanga police director Col. Levi Hope Basilio to exert all efforts for the identification and arrest of the suspects.
