PRESIDENT Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr. yesterday led the ceremonial turnover of 30,000 housing units in Bgy. Calubcob, Naic, Cavite.
NHA general manager Joeben Tai, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., Sen. Francis Tolentino, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla,
Vice Gov. Athena Tolentino, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Revilla, Cavite 8th District Rep. Aniela Tolentino, Naic Mayor Raffy Dualan and Vice Mayor Junio Dualan accompanied the President in visiting the housing units.
Marcos even talked to the residents of the housing site.
The Chief Executive also led the awarding of the Certificates of Eligibility of Lot Allocation and Transfer of Certificate Titles to the beneficiaries at the NHA
project site.
The new house and lot serves as new home to the 30,000 Filipino families.
It also served as early Christmas gift to the beneficiaries.
“Binabati ko ang pamunuan ng NHA sa matagumpay na pagpapatayo ng mga konkretong pabahay na ito na isang kalidad na pabahay para sa ating mga kababayan. Hinihikayat
ko ang pagpapatuloy ng pagpapatayo pa ng pabahay na ito,” the President said.
Among the beneficiaries of the housing units were low-income families, and former rebels who returned to the fold of the law for them to start a new life anew and build better future for their families.
