PHILIPPINE National Police chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos on Monday arrived at the Police Regional Office 3 in Camp Olivas in line with his rounds of command visits to all police regional offices nationwide.
The country’s top cop was warmly welcomed by the men and women of the PRO3 and was accorded with the traditional arrival honors.
Carlos presided the command conference together with MGen. Valeriano de Leon, Director for Operations; MGen Walter Castillejos, Directorate for Police Community Relations; MGen. Alessandro Abella, Deputy Chief Area Police Command-Northern Luzon; Brig. Gen. Remus Medina, District Director, Quezon City Police District; and Brig. Gen. Cliffords Gairanod, DHSS.
After the traditional “Talk to Men,” the PNP chief personally pinned awards to deserving PNP personnel who performed exemplary in delivering quality police service.
Carlos led the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) and the Regional Headquarters Support Unit (RHSU) buildings and the groundbreaking of the soon to rise Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS) building.
In his message, Carlos stressed the importance of his 3 Ds – Distinction, Discipline, and Decorum – in the performance of duties of every member of the PNP.
He commended the PRO3 under the helm of Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay for being one of the contributors in the good performance of the PNP in the first quarter of 2022.
