Sadanga, Mountain Province – Officials from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Mountain Province, Bontoc together with Sadanga Municipal Police Stations (MPS) and Mountain Province Police Provincial Officers arrested two drug couriers during a joint operation at Border Control Checkpoint in Sitio Ampawilen, Poblacion, Sadanga, Mountain Province at around 6 AM on September 13, 2022.
The suspects were identified as Eliseo IV San Pedro Quiambao, 23 single and John Cedric Gadia, 21 single, both residents of Quezon City.
According to police report, the suspects were carrying dried Marijuana leaves contained in three (3) sacks and were on board a Toyota Vios with plate number NAE 3385 and colored Thermalite.
Based on the inventory report conducted by the PDEA agents, 67 bricks were wrapped in transparent plastic wraps. The confiscated drugs have a total weight of 64.283 Kilogram and with a standard estimated price of ₱7,713,960.00. Other confiscated non-drug evidence are Samsung android phone, Vehicle, OR/CR and Driver’s License.
The suspects are now under the custody of the Sadanga MPS while the confiscated drugs were turned over to the Crime Laboratory Office for further examination.
