Camp BGen Vicente P Lim – TANGGAL na sa serbisyo ng Police National Police Calabarzon si Police Major Allan Avena De Castro, na siyang pangunahing suspek sa pagkawala ng beauty pageant finalist na si Catherine Camilon , na siyang inanunsiyo ni PBGEN Paul Kenneth T Lucas, Regional Director ng CALABARZON ngayong araw ng Huwebes (January 18, 2024).
Sa press conference , inihayag ni Lucas na pirmado niya nitong Enero 16, 2024 ang kautusan matapos ang malawakang imbestigasyon na isinagawa ng Regional Internal Affairs Service 4A sa administratibong kaso laban kay de Castro hinggil sa mga akusasyon na Conduct Unbecoming of a Police Officer.
Sa serye ng imbestigasyon, natuklasan ng RIAS 4A ang ebidensya nadiskubre ang illicit and extramarital na relasyon sa pagitan ni De Castro at ng nawawalang si Catherine Camilon.
“Police Major Allan Avena De Castro’s dismissal serves as a significant step in ensuring that individuals entrusted with the responsibilities of serving and protecting our people are held accountable for their actions. We remain committed to conducting fair and impartial investigations into any similar allegations of misconduct, regardless of our personnel’s rank or position. Hindi natin hahayaan na masangkot sa ano mang katulad na insidente ang ating mga personnel that will taint the image of the PNP especially here in the Police Regional Office CALABARZON” sabi ni Lucas.
Ang pagpapatanggal kay Police Major Allan Avena De Castro ay isang independent action sa kasong administratibo at hiwalay ito sa kasalukuyang kriminal na imbestigasyon kaugnay ng pagkawala ni Catherine Camilon.
Si De Castro ay patuloy na nahaharap sa isa pang administratibong kaso sa ilalim ng National Internal Affairs Service kaugnay ng mgakasong criminal at kidnapping with serious illegal detention .
“The legal process will continue to unfold, and updates will be provided to the media and the public as necessary. His dismissal from the service underscores the commitment of the command in maintaining the highest standards of conduct and integrity within our ranks. This reflects our dedication to transparency, accountability, and upholding the principles of justice,” dagdag pa ni Lucas .
