ANTI-DRUG operatives on Saturday arrested a 17-year-old boy in an entrapment operation in Bacoor City, Cavite.
A report submitted to Cavite Provincial Police Director Col. Arnold Abad identified the arrested suspect as alias “Echo,” a resident of Blk. 7, Interfashion St., Bgy H2, Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
The young suspect’s cohorts, Dexter Buenaventura alias “Tabo,” of Bgy Talaba 6, Bacoor City; and alias “Nora” eluded arrest.
Joint operatives led by the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group headed by Lt. Jeffrey Padilla, the Special Operations Unit 4A, Special Drug Enforcement Unit – Bacoor City Police Station, Special Operations Unit 4A and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the entrapment against the suspects on Aguinaldo Highway in Bgy. Talaba 6 at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Only “Echo” was arrested after alias “Tabo” and alias “Nora” were able to escape after sensing the presence of policemen.
Seized from the teenager were the 150 grams of shabu worth P1,020,000.
Also confiscated during the operation were the P100,000 boodle money used in the buy-bust operation, a cellphone, and a sling bag containing the ID and vaccination card of the young suspect.
Police are hunting down the arrested suspects’ cohorts.
