Baguio City – In preparation for the so-called :big one”, the Department of Health – Cordillera Admnistrative Region participated in the fourth quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on November 10, 2022.
Regional Secretary Rio L. Magpantay during the briefing said that more casualties and injuries result from earthquake-induced falling objects while entering or exiting buildings rather than from the instability caused by the shaking ground.
Employees were also given orientation on “dos and don’ts” during an actual earthquake.
