Dagupan City – A total of 1000 solo parents were given P3k each as cash assistance for qualified beneficiaries under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (DSWD) held at the Dagupan City People’s Astrodome in November 18, 2022.
The dole-out was led by Sen Imee Marco-Manotoc and City Mayor Belen T, Fernandez.
The program was an initiative by the senator to support solo parents in raising their children.
“It is both a delight ang honor for the city of Dagupan to be visited by our biggest ally in the Senate of the Philippines. Hindi lamang po natin siya kakampi sa Senado kundi kaibigan ng lungsod ng Dagupan”, Mayor Belen stated.
Dagupenos also handed a bouquet of flowers and a cake to the senator who also celebrated her birthday yesterday.
