POLICE arrested 21 individuals allegedly operating illegal online casino in separate operations in Biñan and San Pedro cities in Laguna.
Laguna Police Provincial Office acting director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the suspects arrested in Biñan through their aliases as Heimrich, Jhundel, Denzel, Japhet, Aaron, Jonathan, John, Borgy, Christian, Bren, Jon, Robert, Anthony, and Philip John.
Silvio said the raid was conducted at Southville Town and Country in Bgy. Sto Tomas, Biñan City.
Seized during the operation were seven sets of computer desktops, two wireless routers, 11 sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves and drug paraphernalia.
In San Pedro City, those arrested were also identified by their aliases as Kimberly, alias Kent, alias Darwin, alias Jezreel, alias Mary, alias Dan, and alias Estefen.
Authorities confiscated during the operation in Bgy. Pacita 1, San Pedro City seven sets of computer desktop, two routers, different cellphones and bet money.
The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287 in relation to RA 10175.
A separate case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was filed against alias Heinrich, alias Jundel, alias Denzel, alias Aaron, alias John, and alias Jon .
