A COLLISION between a motorcycle and a Toyota Hilux pickuo left three teenagers dead in San Pablo City, Laguna on Sunday night.
According to San Pablo City police chief Lt. Col. Joewie Lucas, the victims died from multiple head and body injuries.
A traffic investigator said the victims were not wearing helmet on the time of the accident that happened on Maharlika Highway in Bgy. San Rafael, San Pablo City.
A report submitted to Lucas showed that the Toyota Hilux driven by businessman Vicente Ray Miranda Palmon III, 56, of 3D San Joaquin St. San Juan City, was traveling towards Tiaong, Quezon from Alaminos, Laguna when it struck the motorcycle from the opposite direction at 11:50 p.m. on Sunday.
The victims were threwn off the motorbike and fatally landed on the cemented road.
Witnesses rushed the three teenagers to the Panlalawigang Pagamutan ng Laguna but were declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Doraly A Selvioan.
Charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide were filed before the City Prosecutors Office against the driver of the Toyota Hilux pickup.
