
THE two-day anti-illegal drug operations by the Central Luzon police have sent to jail four high-value targets in the region.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., combined operating units of the Angeles City – Drug Enforcement Unit and the Angeles City police conducted an entrapment near Angeles City Water District on Pampang Road, Bgy. Lourdes, North West, Angeles City, which led to the arrest of Rommel Paras, a 62-year-old regional “high-value individual,” of Bgy. Malino, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Confiscated from Paras were three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing at least 55 grams worth P374,000.
“High-value targets” Aiman Ombar, Mohammad Pangcatan and Hamza Hadji were arrested by joint elements of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Police Station-5, SPDEU, Special Operations Unit 3, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group and OCMFC in an entrapment operation at no.14 Holy Spirit, Sta. Rita, Olongapo City.
Seized from the three were four plastic sachets of shabu worth P1,034,960.
Hidalgo said the Central Luzon police will keep on conducting anti-drug operations to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
