6 HVI’s nabbed, P4.9M shabu seized in Laguna buy-busts

SIX “high-value” individuals were arrested while over P4.9 million worth of shabu was seized in a series of buy-bust operations in Laguna.
A report submitted to Laguna provincial director Col. Randy Glenn G. Silvio showed that the first arrest was conducted in Bgy. Halang in Calamba City by members of the Calamba City Police Station.
Arrested was alias “Jayson,” a resident of Marikina City.
Seized from the suspect were some 53.75 grams of suspected shabu worth around P365,500.
Joint operatives of the Calamba City police and the Provincial Intelligence Unit nabbed alias “Roni” and alias “Christian,” also from Marikina City during an operation at a bus terminal in Bgy. Turbina, Calamba City on Saturday night.
Confiscated from the duo were approximately 405 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P2,754,000.
On Sunday night and on Monday dawn, authorities seized around 250 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,847,700 in separate buy-bust operations in San Pedro City and in Cabuyao City.
Alias “Roderick” was arrested during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Bgy. Landayan in San Pedro City.
Confiscated from the suspect was a total of 50.4 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P347,700.
In Cabuyao City, two “high-value” individuals, alias “Bacolod” and alias “Abbas” were caught on Monday in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Banlic.
The two yielded around 200 grams of suspected shabu, with a street value of P1,500,000.
All arrested suspects were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Earlier, newly-installed Calabarzon Police Regional Director Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces directed all units in the region to intensify their anti-illegal drugs drive.
