Cavite 7th District Congressman-elect Crispin Diego “Pinggoy” Remulla formally takes his oath of office before Trece Martires City Mayor Gemma Lubigan at the latter’s office in the city. Remulla, who was accompanied by his wife Georgia, with their son, filled the post vacated by his father, Justice Secretary Crispin “Boying” Remulla who was appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to be part of his Cabinet. The young Remulla garnered 98,474 votes or 66.67 percent of the total number of voters, defeating his closest rival, independent candidate Melandres De Sagun Jr., who got 46,530 votes.
