THE Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) in Maydolong unveiled its new criminology building last Friday with the support of Tingog Party-list, led by House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Rep. Jude Acidre.
The launch ceremony is a testament to the University’s efforts in enhancing its educational infrastructure to further provide quality education to its students.
“The completion of this new building emphasizes our commitment to providing Filipinos with the best possible resources and facilities,” said Rep Acidre. “It is in line with Tingog’s commitment to providing access to quality education as we believe it is important to invest in our youth’s education to further improve society, especially those part of the justice system.”
“Our support for ESSU’s Criminology program reflects our dedication to fostering a safer and more just Philippines,” the lawmaker added.
The new building, with modern classrooms and facilities, will serve as a learning hub for criminology education and research, offering students a better learning environment to prepare them for the future.
The blessing ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Dan G. Gañas, Rev. Aaron B. Amida and Rev. Bryan M. Azura. Followed by the official ribbon-cutting, symbolizing the building’s readiness to welcome its first batch of students for the upcoming academic year.
“We hope this new building could help strengthen the criminology program of ESSU to contribute to the development of competent professionals in the field of justice,” Acide said
