THE National Bureau of Investigation-National Capital Region (NCR), under the supervision of NBI Director Judge Jaime B. Santiago (Ret.), arrested an individual in Paranaque City for sexually molesting his three (3) biological daughters.
Minor complainants filed on March 6, 2025, a complaint at NBI-NCR against their biological father. In complainants’ sworn statements, they alleged that their father had raped them multiple times which started in 2022. They were threatened not to tell anyone about the incidents as something bad will happen to them. Victims reported the incident to their mother but she refused to believe them, dismissing the children’s claim as made up story, and instead sided with their father.
On March 10, 2025, the brother of the female victims executed his sworn statement stating that he received text messages from the Subject, threatening and intimidating him and his younger siblings after they reported the incident to the NBI-NCR. Part of the text message includes a threat that Subject will kill them if they would further report the matter.
The text messages prompted NCR Agents to proceed to Baclaran, Paranaque City to conduct hot pursuit operation against the Subject on March 11, 2025, anchored on the ongoing grave threats to the minor victims. Upon arrival in Baclaran, Paranaque City, the NCR Agents approached the Subject and introduced themselves as operatives, informed him of the complaint against him and that he will be arrested. Subject resisted arrest and acted violently, thus a scuffle ensued. Eventually, Subject was subdued, placed under arrest, and was informed of his constitutional rights.
Subject was brought to NBI-NCR, Taft Avenue, Manila where he underwent the standard booking procedures. He was presented for inquest proceedings for violations of Republic Act No. 8353 (Anti-Rape Law) in relation to Section 5(b) of Republic Act No. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).
