Mr. Gonzalez LaโO also presented the UNIDO recommendation report for the Philippine commercial food retail sector, highlighting Royal Duty Free Supermarket as a benchmark for energy efficiency. Their R290 water loop refrigeration system consumes an average of 741.35 kWh/day, representing an 18.5% reduction compared to the previous R404a plug-in equipment, which averaged 909.49 kWh/day. The store also achieved an estimated electrical energy intensity of 216 kWh per square meter of sales area per year.
Attendees experienced a live demo of four AHT units and gained valuable insights from industry leaders: Mr. Ryuta Honzawa and Mr. Jeffrey Laguitao- AHT Singapore; Mr. Emilio Gonzalez LaโO โ Cold Front; and Mr. Alvin Yeo โ Guntner Singapore.
