THE Philippine National Police (PNP) reported major wins in its campaign against illegal drugs, with operations nationwide showing significant results from January 1 to March 30, 2026.
In just three months, the PNP conducted 14,550 anti-illegal drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 16,784 individuals.
Confiscated drugs during this period included 619,820 grams of shabu, 2.8 million grams of dried marijuana leaves, 619,820 marijuana plants, 1,816 grams of cocaine, 166,000 grams of ecstasy, and over 4 million grams of kush marijuana—estimated at more than Php 11 billion in standard drug price.
Chief PNP Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. said the campaign against illegal drugs is showing clear progress, but the fight is far from over.
“Ang resulta ng ating kampanya ay malinaw na patunay na tuloy-tuloy at epektibo ang ating laban kontra iligal na droga. Pero hindi pa rito nagtatapos ang laban,” he said.
He added, “We will continue our bloodless campaign, focusing on operations that protect communities while respecting human rights.”
These successes reflect the PNP Focused Agenda under the Enhanced Managing Police Operations framework, demonstrating proactive, coordinated, and community-centered policing.
The PNP urges everyone to stay vigilant, report illegal activities, and help keep neighborhoods safe and drug-free.
In line with its commitment to the Filipino people, the PNP continues to embody the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas, delivering Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.
