CALAMBA Medical Center (CMC) formalized its partnership with MPower through a contract signing held at the Lopez Building.
Representing CMC were Atty. Pilar Nenuca P. Almira, President and CEO, and Mr. Florencio A. Tenorio, Chief Finance Officer. Representing MPower were Mr. Redel M. Domingo, Senior Vice President and Head of MPower; Mr. Eddie John V. Adug, Vice President and Head of Retail Sales, MPower; and Ms. Patricia M. Bautista, Strategic Account Manager.
Atty. Almira shared that joining the MPower program is part of CMC’s ongoing effort to manage its resources more responsibly. She added that this initiative began in 2025, when CMC installed solar panels at Tower 2, allowing the hospital to convert part of its energy consumption to renewable sources.
Both the solar initiative and the MPower partnership were led by Engr. Christian Castalone, Infrastructure and Building Improvement Manager of CMC, as part of the hospital’s continued efforts to become more sustainable.
CMC is the first hospital within the Metro Pacific Health network to adopt the Retail Aggregation Program with Mpower.
For his part, Mr. Domingo expressed MERALCO’s support for CMC and its direction, noting that the agreement marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two institutions.
Through this partnership, CMC continues to move toward becoming a more sustainable hospital—caring for its patients, making smarter choices, using its resources responsibly, and protecting the environment, with MPower providing reliable electricity.
