BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Mayor Strike B. Revilla’s vision of elevating Bacoor as a globally recognized center of musical excellence continues to gain international recognition as the El Gobernador Band and the United Musicians of Bacoor represent the Philippines at the prestigious Bandafolie’s Festival in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, France.
The internationally acclaimed festival gathers outstanding brass and marching bands from around the world, providing a platform for cultural exchange and artistic excellence.
Revilla said the participation of Bacoor’s musicians reflects the city’s proud legacy as the Marching Band Capital of the Philippines and its commitment to nurturing world-class Filipino talent.
“We are proud of our musicians for carrying the name of Bacoor and the Philippines on the international stage. Their dedication, discipline, and talent reflect the rich musical heritage of our city and the excellence of Filipino artistry,” the mayor said.
He added that showcasing Bacoor’s musical heritage abroad also advances the city’s cultural and tourism development, opening opportunities for stronger international partnerships while inspiring future generations of musicians.
The City Government of Bacoor congratulated the officers, conductors, musicians, and supporters of both bands for bringing pride and honor to Bacoor and the Philippines.
