FIRST Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) highlighted its established network of manufacturers and suppliers during a September 11, 2026 visit by international investors as part of a program organized by the U.S.
Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) under the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC) initiative.
The visit was organized by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), bringing together international investors, industry leaders, project developers and government officials, including representatives from Apple supplier Foxconn.
The Lopez-led industrial park is home to over 160 global manufacturing companies, including Dyson Electronics PTE, Philippine Manufacturing of Murata Corporation, Brother Industries (Philippines) Inc., PMFTC, Inc., Honda Philippines Inc., and Nestlé Philippines, Inc.
During the tour, FPIP pointed to the factors supporting companies operating in the park: its strategic location, reliable infrastructure, support services, access to skilled Filipino talent, and a supply chain network connecting manufacturers with supporting industries and suppliers.
“Investors don’t just need available land. They need an environment that already works, with the infrastructure, talent, and network of suppliers and service providers to support their operations,” said Ricky Carandang, FPIP Vice President and Head of Marketing, External Relations, and Communications. “We keep strengthening that environment, not just adding space, so it stays ready for whoever comes next.”
The delegation also visited Collins Aerospace, one of FPIP’s aerospace locators.
A major business unit of RTX Corporation, Collins Aerospace operates one of its largest international facilities at FPIP, manufacturing aircraft interior products such as seating, galleys and galley inserts for the global aerospace industry. Its operations at FPIP have expanded steadily over the years, with the company pointing to FPIP’s support and the skill and English proficiency of Filipino talent as factors behind its growth.
The delegation, comprising international investors, industry leaders, project developers and government officials, including representatives from Apple supplier Foxconn, toured industrial parks across Batangas as part of government efforts to develop the LEC and position the Philippines as a global logistics and manufacturing hub.
FPIP is a 600-hectare industrial estate in Sto. Tomas, Batangas with more than 80,000 locator employees working across aerospace, electronics, motor vehicle, food and other advanced manufacturing sectors. It is strategically positioned within the LEC, which links Subic, Clark, Metro Manila, and Batangas as part of broader efforts to improve connectivity, strengthen supply chains and attract investments to key economic centers in Luzon.
