THE Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao declared the entire region under a state of calamity following the devastating effects of Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Paeng in the country,
BARMM experienced widespread flooding, flashflood, and landslides during the onslaught of STS Paeng on Friday, 28 October 2022.
Before the entry of the storm, the region has already suffered experienced massive flooding due to intermittent heavy rainfall since October 24, 2022.
The Province of Albay and the Municipality of Pigcawayan, Cotabato who also experienced wide flooding in their barangays, also declared their areas under a state of calamity.
