A FEMALE Singaporean on Sunday night fell from the fifth floor of a hotel while using her cellphone in Bgy. Sampaloc 2, Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
Police identified the victim as Angel Tun, a 23-year-old Singaporean who is currently on vacation in the Philippines.
Tun is in serious condition at the hospital after she fell from the hotel at 7:42 p.m. on Sunday.
An investigation showed the victim was sitting on a concrete stone in front of her rented room at 201 Spring Plaza Hotel in Bgy Sampaloc 2, this city while making a video call when she suddenly lost her balance and fell.
Another occupant of the hotel said he noticed the victim seated on the stone which is quite dangerous.
The witness said he tried to get her attention to tell her that she might fall but was too late as Tun already lost her balance and fell from the fifth floor of the hotel.
Tun was rushed to Dela Salle University Medical Center.
